💼 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Manage purchase invoices and ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Perform Goods Receipt Note (GRN) reconciliation.
- Identify and analyze purchase price differences and cost variances.
- Maintain supplier accounts and process payment-related transactions.
- Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in accounts payable activities.
🔹 INVENTORY & COST ACCOUNTING
- Monitor inventory transactions, stock movements, and inventory valuation.
- Identify and investigate stock variances and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting records.
- Support manufacturing cost analysis and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate material and production cost records.
🔹 FINANCIAL REPORTING & MONTH-END CLOSING
- Support month-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Assist in preparing factory financial and operational reports.
- Analyze financial data and identify cost-related discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in strengthening financial controls and reporting accuracy.
🔹 CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Stores, and Inventory departments.
- Coordinate financial information and operational accounting requirements.
- Support accurate reporting of manufacturing-related transactions.
- Ensure effective communication between finance and operational teams.
🎯 CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for candidates who possess:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
✅ 3–5 years of professional experience in Finance & Accounts.
✅ Previous experience in manufacturing accounting will be preferred.
✅ Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
✅ Experience handling supplier accounts, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
✅ Good knowledge of inventory valuation, stock variance analysis, and WIP accounting.
✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
✅ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) will be an advantage.
✅ Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
✅ Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
✅ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
